Privacy

Short version: no account, no cookies, no tracking, no ads. Your location stays on your device.

Your location

Prayer times and the Qibla depend on where you are. When you choose a location, it is saved only in your own browser (local storage), so you don’t need to choose it again. We never receive it, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Services we use

• Approximate location: if your device does not share its exact position when you tap “Use my current location”, your internet address is sent to GeoJS to estimate your city.
• City search: when you type a city name, the name is sent to Open-Meteo to find matching places.
• “Use my current location”: your browser asks your permission first. If you allow it, your approximate coordinates are sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim once, only to find your town’s name.

All prayer time and Qibla calculations happen on your device. The compass reading never leaves your phone.
